Brand Positioning / Re-design website

3 months and half brand positioning project on the Innovation Agency Wecanbeheroes based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The whole team of Heroes got involved in redesigning the value offering, the brand strategy and craft a digital strategy to promote the agency. Thanks to this project, the website traffic increased by 20% in 2 months and ranked as second result for the query “strategy agency amsterdam”. The launch of an upcoming content strategy is expected to boost it further.

Brief

Wecanbeheroes is an Amsterdam-based young innovation agency. Founded in 2011, its mission is to create value for people, brands and businesses and its portfolio clients lists names such as Nike, ABN Amro, De Telegraaf, Exact.

Despite working primarily in the digital industry, since its launch the company outreach has mainly been established and maintained through the management’s personal networks.
In fall 2017 Wecanbeheroes decided to strengthen its digital communications infrastructure and, together, seized the opportunity to reinvigorate their brand story with the goal of generating more traffic and leads through its main digital touchpoint. Create stronger relevance in the market and ensure alignment with its brand.

Lean Branding

This first step converged to a lean branding canvas workshop to revise the brand story, artifacts and invitation.

Starting from analysing customer feedback, during this co-creation session we eventually refined a new shared brand message that better matches the way the business has developed over time and reflect its new identity.

Value Proposition

From the old “We solve business challenges. Fast”, the new brand message became “We make ventures adventures”.

Based on this new message, we designed a new information architecture and updated written/visual content for each page before migrating the old website into a WordPress template linked to Google Analytics and completed with optimized SEO contents.

 

Before launching the website, we conducted validations on the prototypes with a selected group of clients and stakeholders and implemented their feedback into the final version.

Website Redesign

Result

This new strategic brand positioning was successfully performed and the website redesign was enthusiastically supported by Wecanbeheroes management team, other than receiving positive customer feedback right after its launch. Within the first two months the website traffic now increased by 20% and the launch of an upcoming content strategy is expected to boost it further.
